Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of teamnametaken.net (the "Site"), run by Team NameTaken LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Site.

You must be at least 13. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to buy a subscription.

Accounts are optional. You're responsible for your password and for what happens on your account. If you don't add an email, we can't recover the account if you lose the password. We can suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.

The games and everything on the Site belong to us or our licensors. Play for yourself, not for profit. Don't break, scrape, or overload the Site, get around limits or security, use bots to play or sign up, or copy, modify, or reverse engineer the games.

The Site is free and supported by ads. The optional ad-free subscription is $2.99 per month and removes the ads the Site shows. It renews automatically each month until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe.

Cancel any time from the billing portal on your Account page. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep ad-free access through the end of the period you've already paid for. Refunds are handled case by case: email us at support@teamnametaken.net and we'll look at it. We can change the price with advance notice, and the new price applies from your next renewal.

We store game progress for signed-in players. We try to keep it safe, but we can't promise it will never be lost, and games can change in ways that reset or affect saves.

We may add, change, or remove games and features at any time, with or without notice. Games might break. That's part of running a site like this.

THE SITE AND ITS GAMES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY THAT THEY WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FIT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, TEAM NAMETAKEN LLC IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

You can stop using the Site any time. We can suspend or end access if you break these terms or put the Site or other players at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive (like 7, 8, and 10) will.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you and we both consent to that.

We may update these terms. The new version goes up here with a new date, and using the Site after that means you accept it.
